DNA Sequencing Core Facility
The DNA Sequencing Core Facility provides high-precision Sanger sequencing for targeted DNA fragments. Sanger sequencing remains the premier, gold-standard tool for rapidly and accurately validating short gene sequences (<1 Kbp).
To comply with stringent international journal mandates regarding scientific rigor prior to publication, the facility leverages its established capillary electrophoresis platform to offer Human Cell Line Authentication services. By utilizing Short Tandem Repeat (STR) genotyping, this service assists researchers in rapidly verifying cell identity and ruling out cross-contamination before manuscript submission, thereby ensuring data reliability and publication compliance.
Operated by experienced specialists, the facility features an efficient sample submission system, standardized protocols, and fast turnaround times, demonstrating a continued commitment to delivering high-quality, cost-effective sequencing and cell line authentication services to nationwide academic and research community.
