Glycoscience Core Facility
The Glycoscience Core Facility integrates equipment and resources of the Genomics Research Center (GRC) and Institute of Biological Chemistry (IBC) to provide one-stop analysis services. These include composition analysis of glycans, mass spectrometry-based glycan analysis, glycan arrays, plant lectin chips, and human lectin (c-type lectin and galectin) platforms. We provide sample preparation services and glycan profile analysis to facilitate scientists interested in glycoscience and who are new to this field of research. This core facility integrates the platforms related to carbohydrate analysis. The goal of the Glycoscience Core Facility is to provide a comprehensive updated analytics solutions that are constantly evolving and improving. The Glycoscience Core Facility aims to provide glycoscience analysis services and to encourage collaboration between researchers from different fields. This core is anticipated to promote the interaction of different groups for interdisciplinary research and to enhance the capacity of carbohydrate research inside and outside Academia Sinica.
