Comprehensive Flow Cytometry Laboratory
Established in 2010, the Comprehensive Flow Cytometry Laboratory is the only facility in Academia Sinica and in Taiwan that provides specialized analysis and sorting services for diverse sample types, including prokaryotic organisms, protozoa, fungi, plant cells, and animal cells. Its technological expertise is unparalleled in its uniqueness and irreplaceable.
This facility provides services to research units in Academia Sinica, and, if manpower and resources permit, external institutions. Equipment in the lab includes (1) CytoFLEX S Flow Cytometer for enhanced cell analysis; (2) CytoFLEX SRT Cell Sorter for high-purity four-way and precise single-cell sorting; (3) COPAS VISION 1000 Large-Particle Brightfield Imaging Flow Sorter for expanded sample compatibility and improved sorting efficiency.
