Results of Applications for the 2021
A total of 14 applications were submitted for 2021 Sustainability Science Research Program: 2 on “Social and Economic Impacts of Climate Change;” 3 on “Risk Investigation and Assessment for Human Health under Environmental Changes;” 3 on “Science and Technology for Energy and Decarbonization;” 3 on “Biodiversity and Sustainable Agriculture;” 2 on “Governance and Transformation toward a Sustainable Society;” and 1 on “Others.” Of the 14 applications, 7 were approved in the meetings of the Second-round Review and Budget Review, including 1 on “Social and Economic Impacts of Climate Change;” 1 on “Risk Investigation and Assessment for Human Health under Environmental Changes;” 2 on “Science and Technology for Energy and Decarbonization;” 1 on “Biodiversity and Sustainable Agriculture;” 2 on “Governance and Transformation toward a Sustainable Society.” Please refer to the following table for detailed information. Approved projects shall be undertaken only after their budget plans have been officially approved.
